HVAC professionals install, maintain, and/or repair systems that control indoor climate and air quality. Training in this trade covers energy-efficient technologies, refrigerant management, and modern heating and cooling systems to ensure comfort, safety, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Weatherization specialists improve a building’s envelope and overall energy performance by reducing energy loss through air sealing, insulation, and system upgrades. Training programs cover diagnostic testing, materials installation, and safety procedures that help homeowners and businesses lower energy costs and enhance comfort.

Plumbing training prepares workers to install and maintain piping systems for water supply, drainage, and heating applications.
