This report and the accompanying maps portray and describe the stratigraphy, structure, economic geology, and environmental geology of the Studley, Yellow Tavern, Richmond, and Seven Pines 7.5-minute quadrangles in Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, and King William counties. Piedmont igneous rocks, Coastal Plain sediments, and recent alluvium are mapped in the area. Crushed stone, clay, and sand and gravel deposits are described.
