by R.L. Miller and J.O Fuller, 383 pages, 50 plates, 17 figures, 1954. This publication is a detailed discussion of the Rose Hill district (in western Lee County) in which petroleum has been found and iron has been mined. The report describes the structural conditions in the fenster area of the Cumberland overthrust block. The exposed rocks in the area range in age from Upper Cambrian to Upper Devonian. Eleven measured geologic sections are included and possible areas of future exploration are presented. Out-of-print.
