Map shows the geology and mineral resources of the Natural Bridge, Sugarloaf Mountain, Buchanan, and Arnold Valley 7.5-minute quadrangles. These quadrangles are located in southwestern Rockbridge and northwestern Botetourt counties in west-central Virginia. They are within the Blue Ridge and Valley and Ridge physiographic provinces. The bedrock in these quadrangles ranges from Lower Cambrian through Devonian in age. Limestone and dolomite are produced for use as aggregate and clay is mined for use in the manufacture of brick. Map includes cross-sections.
